Elohim Adonai Charity Centre Inc. is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to providing children, caregivers and the elderly of our community residents, with a secure place to access social and spiritual networks, resources, programs and activities. Elohim Adonai Charity Centre Inc. strives to create a safe and trusting environment for all patrons and their families.

Elohim-Adonai Charity Centre is a community-based, non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing assistance to individuals in need. The Centre offers a safe and friendly atmosphere where all community residents can meet and socialize.

The Centre strives to support the most pressing social service needs in the community. We offer hot lunches daily to all patrons who visit the center. We are also an agency working with Winnipeg Harvest to distribute food to local families as well as distribute clothing to those in need.

Elohim-Adonai is about people getting together to make a positive impact on people here in Winnipeg.

Care of Seniors

Elohim-Adonai works on the basis that there are older members of the community who, for various reasons, now find themselves less able to get out unaccompanied. Nevertheless, they still have the desire to enjoy a day out and join in the activities offered by the Centre which provides the opportunity to spend quality time with others.

Many seniors in our community live alone. Access to seniors' drop-in centres help our community's aging population stay healthy and connected. As the number of seniors living in Winnipeg increases, the demand for services will also increase

Strengthening Families

A significant percentage of Winnipeg's families need some form of parenting support. Our centre provides programs and activities that nurture the family and promote spending quality family time.

Understanding Children

Children growing up today are faced with many adversities and challenges. A strong foundation in early childhood is important to a child's physical, social and emotional health.
Children are invited to our Centre, and are welcome to participate in our Programs when accompanied by a parent.
We provide programs that help children develop and stay on track for a healthy life.

Support Us

Here in Winnipeg, we have small tragedies happening all the time, they're not noticed by the media, but they happen – there's a child here that doesn't have a father any more, a family that will go to bed hungry, and a senior that hasn't been heard in weeks… We don't read about it in the newspaper or hear about it in our sheltered lives. These tragedies will continue to take place but there are ways to make a difference. It is through charities like Elohim-Adonai.
