Feast in Honor of Our Lady of Fatima in Winnipeg

The Immaculate Conception Parish of Winnipeg held on May 12 and 13 religious events celebrating the Apparitions of Our Lady in Cova da Iria, Fátima.

In Winnipeg, where there are several devotees of Our Lady of Fatima, and on Saturday May 12, the celebration of the Rosary took place, followed by Mass, presided over by Father Tiago Coloni.

On May 13, a Mass was held at 10 am, presided over by Father André Lico, followed by the procession that followed the usual route through the streets adjacent to the church, where many parishioners participated, which to the sound of the Band Lira de Fatima, they sang several songs and recited the rosary.

After the procession took place in the churchyard the "goodbye" of the Image of Our Lady.

This year's festivities coincided with Mother's Day, here in Canada a week later than in Portugal, and to commemorate this event the children of the catechism offered at the church entrance paper white roses to all the mothers who participated in the festivities.
